I’ll try to point out the key details.. which sucks bc there’s a lot more I wanted to say. The grandma was only holding the pillow to Sangwoos head until he stopped yelling, as soon as she held the pillow to his head she said he had stopped right away. And who knows if she did actually do it.. she seemed confused and senile. The hospital didn’t notify the police right away when Sangwoo died, their obligated to let them know.. the hospital also had two days to do so. The man in the wheelchair in the elevator had the same burns Sangwoo did and that scene was empathized. Lastly the receptionist changed her reply after finding out that police guy was a cop.
My guess is because the hospital was under so much pressure from the public, they wanted to pretended Sangwoo was dead so they would go away.

There’s a lot of plot holes and things in the story to suggest Sangwoo didn’t die.
I tried explaining but mangago didn’t post my comment.

Did anyone get the foreshadowing koogi did in the haunted house scene? At the start they pass by the man that was burdened alive, that scene was empathized a little. Then Yoonbum freaks out bc someone covered in burns reaches out towards him, then he realizes it was just Sangwoo. (This was when bum thought he lost the frog). Did anyone else notice that was hunting about what would happen to Sangwoo?

This is going to be a long one so I’m sorry in advanced lol I’m just really passionate about this Manhwa :-) )
There’s multiple theories out there that eludes to the possibility that he’s alive. The ending was very rushed due to the limited time LeZhin gave Koogi to work on it, thus she didn’t really have the time to explain everything that she wanted to in the story- leaving a lot of loose ends.
Like when they took DNA and hair evidence from Bum along with the knife and a swab of the floor from Sangwoo’s house that was never expanded on; along with the fact that the Uncle’s blood from the cut on his hand was on the same floor as well.
Koogi also wanted to give choker boy a backstory along with Sangwoo’s relationship with the girl from the beginning of the story but never got the chance to.
The way the story ended was really ambiguous and left a lot of loopholes as to what truly happened. Koogi would never intentionally emphasize something unless it was meant to be important- hence, theres speculation that Sangwoo’s death was staged by the hospital to get the public off their backs. If he did die, why would the police not be notified? Why did Yoonbum keep getting sent to the wrong room? And if Sangwoo was killed by the old woman, why was his room so easily accessible with no police present?
The doubting theory on his death was during the scene when Yoonbum finally got to “see” Sangwoo, he went into the elevator, and in front of him was a man in a wheelchair with an IV bag with burn scars on only half his head- the same side as Sangwoo’s. Koogi chose to emphasize this scene especially without giving us a clear answer as to whether or not he’s truly dead.
It may seem like he’s died at face value, but Koogi really stresses on details and their significance and maybe she chose to end it in a way that really left it up to the reader’s interpretation.
Hope that helps... or it probably made you more confused lol :-)) Killing Stalking was a
As the title says this was good., although I’m mildly confused about what I read lol.
