Yeah so I see alot of people complain about the amount of rape in this manga. But you do realise this is (sadly) one of the most happend things to highschool girls lately. Like 2/3 woman now a days get raped which honestly sucks so much. I'm happy the artist shows how much it happens, and how alot of guys think it is okay ( WHILE IT IS NOT), yeah ofclurse i would love to see an independent, strong woman in this story, but I think the artist want to show the problems that happens to highschool kids, instead of the good things that happen. But well this is just my opinion, it is okay if you disagree
It’s more about the author’s lack of tack when it comes to displaying rape. While it is an issue that can be touched on in a work like this, it’s clearly done for shock value. The author has taken this approach: rape occurs > girl becomes “broken” > now she’s not relevant to the story. Like if the author actually cared about the issue, he would show more care to it rather than using it as a device to get rid of girls and to fuel revenge
