look at our readers dawg they don't even want characters with actual character anymore they just want a perfect mc from the get go were cooked
but holy crap it's actually so ??? seeing people say that the MC is a crybaby like he isn't a college student thats failed a college entrance two times, living apart from his family and trying to sustain himself. Its obvious from the get go that the MC is kinda depressed and very obviously insecure (wow character flaws who would've imagined) Who the hell wouldn't cry when he literally got revived from the dead after seeing his leg get eaten. Idk bout yall but all the times the mc cried was pretty reasonable and were only like, 14 chapters deep media literacy is kinda dying!!
omg he finally said what's on his mind.
People gotta remember that Ido isn't a mind reader, that (supposedly, not concrete spoilers just a hunch based on whats shown) while this isn't his first life, that doesn't mean he knows everything about Sejin considering the life they led in the first life.
He's virtually done everything right this time around its just that Sejin is an anxious and very emotionally constipated people pleaser that prefers to keep the peace and fears confrontation (which was touched upon on the chapters where his og company went under and the extent of his family problems was revealed). He's nice but he's not perfect. He has problems he also needs to address and work on.
Their relationship now is a tango danced by two very clumsy dancers so be patient. They're both not perfect and thats the point!! No way in hell you guys clicked in this and expected them to resolve all their shit first 30 chapters lol . Their relationship is messy and dramatic and complex and yall knew that when you guys clicked on this.
Hot take but I actually think this is pretty well paced, the build up is actually well written as most scenes have purpose and direction. I think the problem is that most chapters are "empty" and that it can take 1 or 2 chapters to finish a scene.
Anyways im glad were all here now, I just hope their talk doesn't get interrupted or something, so curious about their past life I hope more gets revealed soon.
I LOVEE the chemistry between the leads here, they're one of the few romance couples that I ACTUALLY REALLY WANTED TO SEE TOGETHER and not just root for an ML because well the MC has to end up with someone in a romance novel *shrugging my shoulder*. Their banter and chemistry before they even formed and realized their romantic feelings for each other is perfect and the way they got together is so refreshing and real I actually teared up (love these two idiots). In a sea of manhwa couples with weird, imbalanced power dynamics or stories that just seems like they got together because of the suspension bridge effect, they're one of the few that just seem so, perfect for each other because they just *fit* you know? no destined fate or big emotional stressful events that trigger their feelings, i dont know how to explain it but their development is cute and natural.
Another thing I love is how intimate they are with each other, just seeing them together stick close hold hands, just napping together, sitting close together in scenes and just seeing them homely and domestic and natural AND OOOOOOOO how they just respect each other as a partner, no one in the pair feels like an "accessory" if ykwim. Like, they didn't get together just because our MC needed a love interest or because its a romance that needed a couple to be together. That scene where Yveria (sorry thats the spelling i got used to) told Harry that she didn't want to be his whole world and that he should experience and explore the world independent from his masters wishes is **MUAH**CHEFS KISS and the way they officially recognized their relationship :(( its just so THEM i love these two idiots so much, have I mentioned that yet? That I love these two idiots so so so much.
