Yea the difference is super weird. I think it might be the mc's past though that is being explained because I think the pink haired one died in the first chapter before he was brought back
But wouldn't they explain it before jumping in that's what confused me

Yea I was thinking about dropping it too because it just seemed like a different story was starting, and the old art style was better to be honest. I'm gonna stick around for a couple more chapters to see if it has any major progressions though
