The only thing keeping me going while reading this is the lack of a tragedy tag but I’m still terrified

Prayer Circle that this doesn’t end up like Song of Achilles.

It might be that it’s just too vague right now, but they didn’t do a good enough job of communicating to Touya. They tell him about the limits of his body and encourage him to pursue other things besides heroism, and at the same time they keep having children. And Touya obviously knows what his father is trying to do, and he’s absolutely freaking devastated. And there is jealousy, societal expectations, but more than that there’s that feeling of becoming completely forgotten and not valued. They need to actually communicate with Touya, understand exactly what the reasons are that he’s doing these things, and just get a freaking therapist period. The only one who knows what’s going on is Fuyumi at like 4. Oh, and Endeavor is devastated af, sure, but get your fucking shit together already.

Who else can taste the tragedy waiting to happen? ;-;
