At a glance, thinking this story would be either wholesome and adventurous, to, surprise, that kidnapper guy be the living embodiment of your nightmare. What do you consider to be the most common plot device in manga/manhwa/manhua that makes you wonder.. Just why? Or annoy you, confuse you, etc.
Like for instance, why did she trip from just one tiny rock that is 1/4 of her shoes?! Tell me how the hell does a full grown lady fall because of a rock on the perfectly fine road?! I would understand if it's a tree root or on a rocky path, but this is just a flat road and then a small rock just happened to be there for plot reason. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I've been seeing less of it these days, but can't stand the amnesia trope. I'd hesitate to call it a plot device since 99% of the time it does nothing to move the story forward. Usually it's used to create artificial tension but that doesn't work because I know all their memories are magically going to come back in like 10-15 chapters. A pure waste of time
the "caught cheating" trope but it was just their ML literally seen in the presence of another woman that happens to be his sister bcs ofc right

I think the point of the sticks being empty and him stating that she had “defied the heavens” is because she already died once and should not have regressed as she did. However, because she regressed, she has no fortune and I guess isn’t affected by fate, since she’s technically not even supposed to be alive still. Because of this, her existence in itself goes against the heavens.
