Well, personally I think that there will be a sequel if the mangaka isn't completely off. Just when you read the last chapter you realize that the end is pretty much entirely open.
I have a few suspicions.
- Either Kaneki didn't die and he is kinda... alive... somehow but is only a shadowy side character and Touka/or... someone else plays the main,
-or Kaneki is the main (maybe he has another twisted personality lololol),
-or Amon is the main (maybe the new experiment? I guess, since that freak doc talked about the pertinacious body of CCG agents and the guy, who supposedly killed Amon was there)
-or... is it Takizawa, who will be the protagonist...?
-or Touka plays the main and Kaneki really died. :(((
-OR it's Rize! but I don't really think so...
And if Kaneki really died then he was turned into Arimas new Quinque.
But I doubt that because they only said that ~there were no real winners because they CCG lost so many men and the two owls got away~ and also mentioned the Centipede (Kaneki) once and NOT that he got killed.
Still, the hint on the case is kind of worrying and also, that they didn't said anything else about Kaneki.
God, I really hope there will be a good sequel (with a plot which makes sense)

Nah, I don't think Amon is dead, too. I also don't think that Kaneki died. But I guess since they're both extraordinary strong and Amon has a nice good build, they'll probably have very much to do with each other from now on (maybe in Aogiri...?), I'm extremely looking forward to it (I wonder if Amon will be a half ghoul now too... but that can't be). Wow, just imagine a Kaneki x Amon pairing (no Bl plz). They could destroy everyone (...). But I love how the one eyed ghoul was female. I really didn't expect this, respect! And now I even read that she is this horror author?? Gosh, I can't even...
But... I just can't imagine that Kaneki can survive when his opponent is Arima... I just can't really imagine that this pro oversees that he didn't "really died". . . ... Maybe Hide helped him?
Also I'm kinda depressed that Seidou died. He was a nice character (completely different to the other cold, crazy or wicked characters). I hope Shinohara survives that too because he was really interesting too. Well, we'll see soon enough!
It's not like I expected Kaneki to survive either, but I doubt Arima will actually
kill Kaneki. Right now, I'm hoping that Arima only beat him half dead.
It seems like Arima leaves most of his biggest targets half dead. He didn't kill the owl the first time, and even when he had the real one in his grasp, he let it go. I'm pretty sure that if he knows of Kaneki, he knows of his regenerative abilities. So perhaps he's just leaving them a live because he doesn't want to kill them. I like Arima, I really hope there's more to him in TG. Though, he's a pretty cool character in Tokyo Ghoul: Jack. He just likes 95.9% of social skills.
I would love to know what he wrote in his testament. Does anyone know Japanese and would volunteer to translate it for me/us? That would be so nice!

I read in mangahere, in the tsukkomi notes someone did, the big writing all over the letter says "I don't want to die". don't know if it's accurate, but it's possible. the guy is a wuss after all

gets kinda annoying. Why fighting in training clothes if you can also wear impractical high heels you could loose every time you jump (I can't even believe how they're able to run so much with these heels) and a tank top that barely covers your butt? Fashion first, huh?
Anyway the manhwa is pretty good. I just don't think all this ecchi and harem thingy would be necessary. It's already really ridiculous.
I'm really not sure how I should feel about this manga. It makes me really sad because it was obvious that it can't not have a tragic ending. From the beginning it's solely the tragedy about Kaneki Ken. But now I wonder, maybe the mangaka is capable in putting in a plot twist and surprising us with a fulfilling ending without Kaneki Ken dying or leaving him in an unhappy situation. If so, the manga would absolutely deserve five stars.
Well, there's been a few plot twists so far. I mean, who expected Kaneki to turn out to be some cool killer ghoul. But I see where you're coming from, there's despair around every corner. Kaneki is slowly going insane, and I think he's going to snap really bad very soon, but that means something terrible has to happen. Unfortunately, It may have to do with Hide. But I think that the mangaka can turn it around, but it will take a while (which I don't mind). Though I'm certain there will be a lot of casualties, almost like in Hellsing.
I'm hoping Hide is the one to turn Kaneki from going full psycho

I just feel so sad seeing Kaneki like this :( It just breaks my heart to see him broken and going more and more insane ;(

About hide being eaten,its not sure that it really went like that.kaneki only says when i wokeup hide was gone and he had a sweet taste in his mouth.so maybe kaneki found something to eat or hide brought him something.if sui sensei kills hide ,i am pretty sure its gonna be a gruesome scene with lots of tears and feelings.
Maybe he ate a small part of Hide's flesh, like Nishiki did with his girlfriend. Hopefully that's what went down.
Yeah this manga sends the feels right to me. T.T I never felt bad before for a character that got super strong. Poor Kaneki.
