Sad omegaverse about "his fated pair isn't MC", and ofc MC (Beta) has many turbulence in his relationship with alpha
Alpha got into rut when he met his fated pair for the first time and marked him (but not doing it all the way). Omega got traumatized, removed his gland and flee to another country. Alpha, tortured by his primal instinct, gone crazy in his locked room for months bc his fated pair is gone and his family don't let them met.
Years later, beta worked under alpha, they're got closer and dating each other. Beta has higher pain tolerance and very strong so he can help alpha's rut easily.
Then ex fated pair came back, with repaired gland, and decided to get his alpha back. Alpha's primal side reacts strongly to his fated pair and gone ape sh*t so beta locked him in the room but no avail. Then beta punched him so hard (and yelling at him) to bring back his common sense.
Beta angrily said to omega and his family that they don't deserve alpha bc they left him mentally tortured for the long time.
