"An idol doesn't belong to one special person, but they are an existence that belongs to everybody..."
Damn, what a toxic mindset. I'm not familiar with current jpop idol scene, but is it THAT severe? Does jpop idol industry still believe that idols shouldn't have romantic relationship with anybody, that they're belong to their fans?

Sadly yes. They have contracts and fans get REALLY harsh sometimes, especially if you’re a female idol.

you like kpop shouldnt you know how crazy some fans are when they find out their idol is dating/married

I wouldn't say that kpop is worse. At least from what I've seen these days kpop are a little bit more "open"; I mean, what with Chen or Hyuna and Dawn. It's just that, at least it didn't get to a point where you have to shaved your head and apologized publicly like you just commit a terrible crime for having a romantic relationship (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Actually I think some agencies put that rule to protect their idols too. Back then like wayyy back then, a korean idol was killed by his psychopath girlfriend. We cant deny there are many psychopath who wants to be tgt with the idols

What's wrong with being a male omega and having a girlfriend? Can't they have an ALPHA girlfriend?

I understand that it's not wrong per se. But the way Chiaki replied the question with "I'm an omega" instead of, maybe like "I'm not interested with girlfriend", really ticks me off. It gives the vibe that being an omega is just like being a female in real world, that they have to be paired with a, specifically, male alpha. Thus my question why can't an omega male has a girlfriend. If we want to even the playfield, any omega should be able to date any alpha, or even beta, regardless of their primary genders. Isn't omegaverse supposed to defy gender and social norms?

In all the omegaverse I have read when the omega goes into heat they really NEED something shoved up that hole of theirs. I know dildos exist but they would also not revive the pharamones needed to control the heat. Weman have sex differently then men after all. In one omegaverse I read alpha woman could get a man prego because they had all the equipment needed. In relationships with an omega and a beta there is always the heat that is hard on both of them. That is why an omega will almost always pair with an alpha because it keeps the heat in check. SO to answer your question. He needs a D in his bunghole.

I know right? Like, Omegas don't have to be objectified in a bad light all the time, or Alphas don't have to fit these certain roles you see all the time. Honestly, people are misunderstanding Omegaverses and how to go about creating them. There is no law that states and Omega have to be in a world where they are pretty much how women where treated during the 1800s or in some countries today. Nor does their biologies have to be exactly this one way. It's frustrating when they make them essentially women, I would love to read an Omegaverse where the Alpha or the seme was a woman, and not testosterone overloaded, self-centered prick. I feel like making a national protest for Omega freedom in the world, and we don't even have Omegas (/TДT)/

Yeah, I know those too, and I have read one or two where the Alpha was the female. I was just talking in general, I have very rarely read an Omegaverse where the omega had the freedom to choose. Like, I read light novels as well, and they are also the same with their Omegaverses. The omegas are always treated as a woman that was sent back 100 years and put in modern-day. Like one was even a futuristic one, and they weren't even allowed to choose their lovers, nor take birth control. Like seriously, if Omegaverses played on the realistic spectrum a lot more, Omegas would have medicine to regulate their heats and have birth controls, not only that but if all they needed was something stuck up their asses, a Beta would do it all. Women alphas would be born Hermphidites, and Omegas would have a choice to choose their preferences, then being forced to live with an Alpha who was raised to believe they are the top of the world and that Omegas are nothing but a hole to use and discard as they please. At this point, I have read so many of these, that it's gone from a kinky turn on, to a real aggravating thing. Especially when you are someone who sees the potential that they have and love the idea, but the executions are just horrible. However, don't get me wrong, I have read really good gems out there, but it's hidden over the hundreds of stereotypes.

Exactly! I live my whole life as a woman, I know how society treats us, why do I want to read something similar in a BL which is about men having heats and getting pregnant. The whole point of an Omegaverse was for men to have babies, and their bodies to be pheromone sensitive. Which is fine and dandy, but when you are constantly reminding us, women, on how our reality is, how the hell are we supposed to enjoy it, I can't even read Shoujo for this exact reason. Like not all women are subservient, we are not ignorant because we were raised to not be, and having to be constantly reminded that as a woman your only worth is subservient and babymaking really is a huge turn-off. I love Omegaverse because it's MEN GETTING PREGNANT with SMUT added IN, but when I am having WAR FLASHBACKs while I am reading it, is not okay lmao Which is why I barely read Omegaverses even though I love the idea so much, hell even Shoujo, I stay away as much as I can because getting angry at a fictional story about real-life society problems is really bad for one's health lol(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
