And seriously i dont get it. Did you guys switch to another manwha in the middle and mistakingly commmented here??
Wtf seriously that protagonist is introduced as a hardworking young man struggling for money and in just a few chapters, he became a capricious shit throwing a fit because his vacation with his pretend husband get interrupted??? This is called regression, okay, and it's not how character development works.
I feel NOTHING between those two and NOTHING for them individually, and the "development" of the story is pure bullshit i couldn't immerse myself in even if i bleached my brain and made pop corn out of the neurones in it.
Did i miss something?
Where is the cuteness? Where is the chemistry? Where is the logic? Where is the common sense???
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/f9/u1726558_50x50.jpg?2)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who the thinks this way.
The ml treated the protagonist the exact same way from beginning to end.
It could've been worse though. I guess the author's point of story line wasn't on character development but aesthetic couple moments, smut, and . . . Jeez it's hard for me to think of another clause . . .
Anyway, doesn't this sound familiar? Most yaoi are like this. .
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Agreed. But dont worry, i complain on other yaois as well xD
But on this one, i started because of the high rate and was very confused, then i later tapped it by accident, saw the general rate, then my personal rate, went to the comments and was even more confused, so i reread it and... Nope. I just couldn't understand the discrepancy.
I'm still trying to figure out what i missed in this book btw because i can't make sense out of the other readers comments
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/f9/u1726558_50x50.jpg?2)
Hot take, but I personally think the majority of people's opinions on most bl manhwa (specifically) are subjective from other first comers. If someone says "Oh! This is so sweet!" then the person who goes on to read will subjectively bring that opinion on in their mind as they read it (almost like self brainwashing lol).
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Yea this might explain why my opinion is so often different. I generally write my comment before reading others' when i feel the urge to leave one, and i always write my most sincere and authentic feelings without even thinking that it could influence other people. I'm very sorry if it does, it was never my intention. My POV is mine and mine alone, and it annoys the fck out of me when i have to mention that my opinion is nothing more than MY way of feeling stuff, maybe i should take on the habit of writing it... Since i hate even more having to explain and paraphrase every little shit i wrote with my so little english vocabulary lol
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/f9/u1726558_50x50.jpg?2)
I think it's important to have at least a couple of controversial opinions under any topic or comment section. Depending on how sincere and true they are they can actually provide useful Intel with some compare and contrast with the popular comments to see exactly what type of story you'll be wasting your time on.
And it's people's own decision to be influenced by something themselves, so that's never something to apologize for. If I were to criticize something after I just read it like the professional critique I am (sarcasm).
I usually put this disclaimer:
"Disclaimer:
This is my personal opinion that I have a right to disclose just as much as someone else.
Good or bad a comment is still a comment and everyone still has a right to disagree or have a different opinion.
I respectfully stated mine without any bash or I'll intent to the author, translator, other readers, and everyone else involved with this manhwa. I even bought and read the officials off so and so (actually do this if possible).
It's tiring seeing non-disrespectful contrary opinions getting hated on, starting unnecessary arguments.
Thank you. Lol"
And call it day
Voicing your opinion online is fun and I enjoy reading everyone's else's, even if they're overly hyped up or just plain stupid and mean, it's still entertaining (and a great passtime for attention seekers) and that's one of the reasons why we all do it.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Honestly i mainly do it for myself, I'm french, i LOOOOOVE complaining and I'm used to nobody giving a fuck, that's how shits work in my lovely country xD
Sometimes i just rant for myself in the window for the rating and tagging, and some other times i just feel the urge to complain publicly even knowing people are gonna hate (hence my pseudonym here lol).
Sometimes i just want to interact with other people, hear about their opinions whether they agree or not, and sometimes i need some complementary informations.
There are many reasons as to why we all comment here, I'm nobody to judge other people's
Oh sometimes I'm also just for a good fight lol, gotta blow off steam you know x')
Im old, grumpy and bored.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Lol what would "the wrong people" do? XD
We re just talking, and having divergent opinions is what makes it worth it, talking with people who agree to anything is boring.
At worst they'd insult me? Look im 40 years old it's been a while since i stopped caring about these kind of shit. It did hurt me when i was a kid full of misplaced pride and baseless arrogance, but real life is way more violent than random people unable to communicate politely
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/f9/u1726558_50x50.jpg?2)
Oh lol not much on here I guess.
I remember, years ago, accidently starting a argument on some random forum on a totally different site and it almost got pretty ugly.
They somehow found my email which was linked to my personal one and I got sent all of kinds of spam and malware for weeks.
Luckily I was using a VB so I just dropped and burned everything and never visited that site again.
To be fair it was a argument about cyber security and something about torrents so I guess kinda irrelevant but you never know what type of people you'll be conversing with on the internet.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Oh ooooooh yes i can see this happening, and i suppose i can be quite harmful indeed. But even if someone was ridiculous enough to start this with me, I'm the kind of annoying bitch who only opens my boss and landlord's mails after checking the sender's mail. Anything else or slightly different mail address goes right to the spam, I don't even bother verifying the legitimacy of it, if it's important, they ll just find a more direct way to contact me. Same with calls and sms, i instant blacklist any unknown number and unexpected sms.
And irl, people don't try me, I'm not exactly the social type and i make sure it's obvious at first glance.
I kinda feel bad for people who could be affected by the kind of grotesque retaliation you had to suffer but honestly, that kind of shits don't work on me, because... I stopped giving fucks long ago, it would be a grandiose waste of time
Also... I think the only social interactions i have happen here xD it's a sad but peaceful life ^^

Okay, so first, not story related-
But this publishing company whose name shall not be pronounced here or your comment disappears, is getting worse by the day.
Their typesetting is more and more fucked up and the frequency of typos is getting closer to the number of wrong choices i made in my life.
I'm 40 and naive af, i made A LOT.
The story now. Well... It was okay.
Season 1was hilarious,
Season something else was interesting
(I think i saw 3 seasons but icant really tell which starts/ends where),
Conclusion is pretty... Bland.
The art is... Honestly some backgrounds on some panels are crazy good, but the chara design is cute but basic.
And Evan somehow fell into a plot hole at some point. He did his scenaristic tool's job of being a potential love rival then poof, nothing more even though he gave some antagonist vibes.
I don't have much to say, it's a bit of a let down.
Oh and i can't get past the fact that sparkleslucy piss like a male dog. This is anatomically impossible for a female.
Not even gonna rant about these not at all korean characters sometimes bow and call each other hyung, it's pointless given paragraph 1.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
It was seriously dragging on but i loved the ending.... Till ch 99.
WHAT THE FUCK MAN WHY???? IT'S ALL WASTED FOR NOTHING, IT WAS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL AND MEANINGFUL THEN SUDDENLY CRASH!!! NOTHING!!!
ALL the pride you felt for that STRONG ASS MC and the ANGER toward that piece of shit, BANG! SMASHED!!! EVAPORATED!! DISSIPATED!!! THEY JUST END UP TOGETHER BECAUSE FUCK ME!
SERIOUSLY???
OH HELL I FEEL BETRAYED ON A PERSONAL LEVEL HERE!
That yawhi is what we call in french "un forceur" and yes, it means exactly what it looks like it could mean.
He selfishly forced his way into every fucking thing, up to the very end and i felt no affection for this character, never. Even the uploader stepped into his game trying to force us readers to cheer for him when really there's never been a reason to.and the author complied ffs i cant believe it.
The story was perfect and conveyed a beautiful message and it's all gone to waste.
So that's it??? The mc HAD to end up with one of the ml regardless of all the work done on a beautiful story just to satisfy brainless oppressive fangirls? Shit!
That story went to 4* to 1*, it was a huge fucking waste of my time and emotions.
Well emotions are gross anyways, how do i uninstall them?
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Didn't turn into that cliché yaoi trope mc gets raped then fall in love with his rapist, it was actually cute. And asahina is hilarious even though I felt bad for hi-
Wait wait wait wait wait
Can we talk about something real quick?
That chubby glasses man at the end of chap 1.
Is it one of his #!@£ teacher???
I mean, he knew him, knew his name and his situation, and he came onto him in a public bathroom then next panel, ml and mc are by the lockers at school.
Was this one of his mf&!@# teacher????!
And that upperclassman, why try to make him look like a good guy, he tried to rape him, TWICE, in a SINGLE chapter ffs.
I can't see him in a good light, and I don't want to.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Is that in this 35 chapters manwha, there is a 3 chapters long sex scene.
The whole story is basically told in chapter 31 and 32 and nothing much happens. There is a power bottom, who would have been a strong character if the story was more elaborated.
It's not bad but tbh it's not good either, and the characters are actually pretty fucked up in their head, but the story managed to make it flow surprisingly naturally.
It was just ok, but ok as in i didn't have to force myself to finish it, so... Ok nice?
Didn't read the side stories though, unless it's about jiwook s sister, I'm not really interested.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b7/u111316_50x50.jpg?2)
Eunho my boy, you disappoint me.
Honestly there was like 0 alchemy between these two, and eunho seems closer to Stockholm syndrome than love.
As for Doyeon he's just batshit crazy, it's just obsession at this point.
I dont like either how the side characters just disappeared once they did their thing, they're not even side characters but scenaristic tools.
Yiyeon was just meant to be a potential love rival for a few chapters, the trio of delinquent "friends" were only there to betray eunho and keep an eye on him for the psycho for like two chapters then disappeared too, and eunho s parents barely even existed.
There was so much potential in this story, eunho could
(I really thought it was going in that direction)
have helped doyeon to get over his parents death and obsession which would have brought them together but for some reason, the author chose the lazy way and BANG, suddenly they're in love for no reason.
It's even worse, the more eunho realised how fucked up his childhood friend was, instead of worrying he fell in love, like whaaaaat??? What the hell how did this even happen?
All the built up tension just faded into nothing, and a nothing that doesn't even make sense.
Eunho seemed to have some guts, i really expected him to be a strong character but in the end, he's just loud.
I'm sad.
Did it have to be a yaoi urghhhhhh
Or THIS kind of yaoi...
Their relationship as father and son was so sweet, so touching, i even felt my eyes wetting at some specific parts...
The story was also interesting though incoherent af, i mean... Wht is this world where no form of legal authority exist?
I didn't [dislike] the book but i would have loved it without this fucked up relationship that has no other intent than to show sex and make the story 20 chapters longer.
Oh and I'm very curious about the big brother heir that totally fell in a plot hole, he disappeared so brutally that i spent the rest of the story wondering what in hell happened to him and the whole organisation since Nanmu &co keep going to work even after the boss assassination. What's their job btw?
Somehow feels like the author... Forgot.
Another manwha that makes me sad.
Am i getting bored of yaoi? Should i try something else?
I'll take recommendations gratefully.
