This is so slow paced but at the same time it makes sense for this to be such a slow burn because the mcs are young and learning to communicate but at the same time I want all of them to be happy NOW but at the same time since this is such a well written manga with realistic flawed characters it makes sense for them to take so long to make progress because real life growth takes time but at the same time uuugghhhhhhh

I tried reading this 5 or 6 times and I always dropped it after ch30 because Ginger always manages to fuck everything up. After a few times I just start expecting the worst outcomes whenever she plans something and it always goes even worse. I thought this was going to be a story devoid of quiproquos because of the whole mind reading theme but nope, it’s just constant miscommunication. In the end Ginger’s character ended up being really likeable and refreshing, it reminded me of the innocent girl trope of many shojos but waayy more shameless and incompetent. The way she always get caught gives me horrible second hand embarrassment, but I liked how straightforward and pride-less she is. I will say I feel bad for Hamel and I wish Izana had more clumsy moments that would make him more human, I’m not too fond of “perfect” type mls.
