For what I remember from the novel the "dad" is going to jump from the window during this discussion and for mc is going to become ofc a trauma. But after this i don't remember any angst, only cute moments btw them. Ma fav part iss their birthday

Two main angst:
1. Li Baoguo jumped to his death, traumatizing Jiangcheng
2. Jiangcheng goes away for uni, he and Gufei will do long distance relationship for quite a while
3. Gumiao's condition makes Gufei stressed, and trapped in that town without Jiangcheng makes him depressed
4. Gufei and Jiangcheng breaks up because Gufei's low self esteem (they eventually get back together but it was a really hard breakup for both of them)

Why did the dad decide to jump?

He was basically threatening his children. He was on the roof and creating a ruckus. I think it was about money, I am not sure I forgot. He was arguing with his oldest son. And then in the heat of the moment, he jumped off

But we will still have super wholesome moments, like the * tatoo scene * who is coming right up !! !!
