Dang. Didn't expect Donau to propose first to Pauliana. Haha.

Can't believe that she knows what skorbut or scurvy is, since the incidence of it in the modern times is really low. I wonder what her IQ is . Lol

    ChrolloLucif August 21, 2020 4:00 pm

It’s cos everyone learns about it at school :/

I'm just surprised that she knows the english term of skorbut . And Skorbut is a german term, even the people and the old Chloe in that time doesn't know the cause of it. So there's no way she would know what skorbut is unless she has a high IQ and is a former medical student.

Uhm no, we literally learn about scurvy in primary school here in the uk. It’s probably the same in Korea where she’s from in her past life.

I'm not from UK, but in my country we don't really call it scurvy. We just call it vit c deficiency or just low in vitamins. It usually happens in poorer areas here, but it's not that common here. You're from Uk? Well that explains why you know about it, because scurvy became infamous from the tales of british sailors in the past. Maybe Park Hajeong learned it during her exchange student trip in England. I guess thanks for making me realized it.

I should thank you too. I thought it was basic general knowledge but that makes sense. Where are you from if you don’t mind me asking?

Philippines. I'm jealous that they teach you about it in primary school. Back then, they just told us to eat a lot of healthy foods to prevent from getting sick lol. I just learned about scurvy two years ago hehe.

Learned skurvy in highschool lmao so i guess it is taught in school??

    ninihaha August 22, 2020 4:25 am

she could have learnt it from movies or books, many pirate movies/books mangas have mentions of it, also the language on the world/country cloe* is from might have bases on what we know as german, so she would have understood the term.

the term itself is pretty similar to the english word imo.

*with cloe i mean the character cloe, not the current cloe.

I think it depends on what school you've gone to. I'm also from the Ph and stuff like scruvy & gingivitis was taught to us as part of our HS health and living curricullum. It was nice to know about rosehips though. :o i only knew about that stuff from beauty/skincare things
