I really don't like it whenever the main characters get falsely accused of something they didn't do, and people will drastically blame them or say/do nasty things towards them even though it's only rumor and no solid evidences BUT WHENEVER THE REAL TRASH LIKE THAT GASPAR, COMMITS AN OBVIOUS LIE OR HAVE DONE SOMETHING SUPER BAD, IT'S NOT BIG DEAL, LIKE THEY ARE NOT THAT HATED MUCH BY THE TOWN'S PEOPLE OR EVEN THE NOBLES, LIKE WHAT THE HECK!!! ARE THEY REALLY STUPID??? OR IS IT JUST THE AUTHOR TRYING HARD TO HAVE AN IRONIC PLOT? UUGGHHRR. I HATE THISSSS
It's just stupid and lazy writing by the author. Perhaps she had a bad experience with a gay man this story is just her venting
I think it's because Yvona is a woman. If you look at the background of the story, it's located in a place where women are scorned and looked down at. First of all, Gaspar is a man, then he is the emperor's nephew (?) so I kinda understand if people 'believe' him more than Yvona and give him less reprecusion.

He doesn't have mom and dad, his uncle beats/hates him, his first love was his only friend that got married with a girl then, another friend keep on pestering him and threatening him about telling others about him being a gay, then there's Hyung who is his love of his life now is undecided and is being a dick right now, and lastly I guess he got beaten up by that stalker of his "pretend gf" after seeing them together. Aaannnnddd for sure he will be hurt again by that dick HYUNG, in the future. #－.－)

I really get confused who those name they mentioned belonged to. The author/artist should have put atiny chibi head beside the balloon text so that we can recall the character they're gonna mention. Coz with the slow update, ofcourse there's a high possibility that we'll forget the side characters
I love how realistic this story is, and the scenarios are relatable since the characters are of average status in life. I'm also glad this story did not start with SMEX like what other manga/hua/hwa.
