BUT, out of everyone in entire mansion Derek did the least to fix his relationship with Penelope, THAT INCLUDES the little brother, who has arguably done the most for forgiveness. Also Derek was the first one to get brainwashed, and not snap out of it, the little brother was brainwashed but quickly snapped out of it and she STILL hasn’t able to brainwash Eclis yet, meaning…either he never actually cared for/about Penelope OR he’s not completely remorseful of the things that happened to her.
