Wow ok...hold on...in the beginning I thought it was going to be the usual webtoon drama with the predictable twists and turns, but this...this is more like a psychological warfare rather than a usual thing. There's ACTUAL politics, class distinction, manipulation involved. Also the MC is so damn interesting, the fact that she too has a very grey personality and not a pushover is what makes her so interesting. The MC is incredibly analytical and does not take crap. It's like I'm watching a webtoon version of The Crown from Netflix. Those who are complaining that this has a slow progress....well let's just say, y'all are not used to reading novels in general. Give it a read, it's incredibly well written, more so as a story rather than as a webtoon.

lmao some of y'all in the comment section are so damn childish. There are people who are mad that the father got remarried. For your kind information, rest assured, he is going to carry the trauma of having his first wife raped and murdered for the rest of his life, he avenged her and his dead mother by killing off the tyrant. He has agreed to be a wanted fugitive and live accordingly. His only chance at being happy is falling in love again and being able to raise a proper family, which he did. Lmao some of y'all need to be hanged for these utopian thought processes. Humans even if they die, their lovers have to live on, cherish their memories and find happiness again.
