I find some of these comments so annoying....like omg the plot is predictable omg its the same fight again and again....erm.....this is a shonen-action-webtoon tf did you expect to get here? Death note psychological stuff or slice of life?
This webtoon is one of the finest out there which revolves around mentor-student relations, friendship, power and teamwork and I hate to break it to you, this is exactly what the webtoon is show-casing in the best way possible. Stop spolinung the experience efor others goshhh

The webtoon has super artwork and the story is TIGHT! Like you can tell that this was adopted from a full fledged novel where the author is well versed in fantasy and world building. I am so used to reading the same isekai and fantasy tropes here on webtoon that the storyline really surprised me......it's like a someone made a webtoon of Harry Potter, its THAT good.

So essentially the MC is like a hotter version of Sirius Black/Lupin and Aidan is Harry Potter, Leo is a male version of Hermione Granger whereas the red headed girl is a female version of Ronald Weasley......magical teenager trio breaking rules in a wizarding school to take on monsters and being nosy? I am living for this alternate version of Harry Potter.

One of my faves and this kind of story is definitely not for the younger crowd, not because of the SA but because of the complicated emotions depicted so realistically here. Initially I was thinking that maybe the reason Utsumi eventually fell for Akamine was something like Stockholme Syndrome but I was wrong. He did not forgive him and I think he won't be forgiving him even in the future but it is his acceptance of Akamine's repentance that heals both the men.
Akamine is a kind guy but he did have perverted and violent tendencies for which he destroyed his own life and that is a fact, there is no two way street about this. Its good that he accepted it humbly and also dealt with the karma that came his way.
This story reminds me of Ways of Parting.....beautifully realistic. I do not know if a lot of younger readers will get the point of the story, the way a lot of us older readers would. The way they showcased Kuji's sorrow at his father's progressive dementia made me sad as well.
I love the fact that he understood his father more than he expressed and despite him being rather cold towards his child, Kuji was able to empathize. He took care of him and fed him ice cream. That was sweet.
Special shout out to Sakutaro for being the greenest of all green flags of a partner.
They don't put a name on their relationship, they are mature and they are affectionate. He gives Kuji his space not only when he is working but also when he is in deep thought.
Both of them are generous lovers. Kuji understands what Sakutaro likes and asks for it knowing well that the latter enjoys it thoroughly. Sakutaro likes to do the same to Kuji, taking care of him and being a source of comfort.
Please help I want this for myself.
