Well without spoiling anything, all I can say that the impression I got while reading the raws is the seme "saves" him from the crazy stepbrother/adoptive brother(?). The raws are still updating too though so we don't really know what motives the seme has. He could have bad motives (or had* but eventually fell for the uke?) Whatever it may be, I like the seme but you're right, sometimes he gives me bad vibes.
