Hi i put this in my “want to read” list and I want to know if it’s true that there’s a “concubine” trope..from the emperor’s side I usually hate those but I do like enemies to lovers which I heard this one was...so please enlighten me about this manhwa and is it worth reading?
there are concubines but it's purely for country connections, shes the only one he ever gets romantic with and he doesn't marry any new girls after her so far the concubines that stay end up becoming her friends and don't go after him. its a really good revenge story but I also get not liking the trope!

I never liked swan that much nor pay attention to him when I was reading cause he was the most psychopath in the og novel even in this current. He was bullying students and was just basically a demon in a human form.
When Shushu (MC) and Hestia (OG Heroine) was in a walk they bumped into swan, and his papers fell down then shushu helped him pick it up but he just ignored her and was looking at hestia and said "We met again" with a smile?
Thennnn He just keeps ignoring her and was always avoiding her, While again bullying other students making it seems like it's already his hobby, A true psychopath I tell you and here I am still wandering why he's the male lead! I was Like give us an explanation author!! Until I saw his POV..
Since 7 years ago swan actually fell in love with her, and has a picture of them together and he would always look at it to not forget her face (they haven't met for 7 years too)

He was shock and was red like a tomato lol his pov was like "I was trying to marry her? Me, a mere mortal? Trying to marry a goddess like her?" I found it really cute that I have to buy a cake if they end up together (and I did)
Bonus: It's so cutee whenever he cover himself with a shirt or jacket just to cover his red facee
Also extra bonus (**big spoiler*): so there's like a dragon who always rewind time and whenever the time is rewind he would always fall for her and I realized that he love her bcuz of her soul and he was also a very loyal one, from the start she was the one who piqued his interest and was never her bestfriend hestia (the other ml were interested in her bestfriend before her)
But I think there were an alternate ending where she ends up with each of the male leads, but still swan is officially the male lead in the main story although it's kind of an open ending lol
