I've been reading BL for 9 years now.alright? I read yaoi before originality was a thing in yaoi.

I've read tons and tons of repetitions of the same plots, or dynamics, or both.
So I know what having the same concept looks like.

You don't share fcking lines and moments, or even types of places.

I literally reread it again.'My God' has first of all much more dynamic to the story.It is about how a boy who had a miserable past gets involved with a cult and stumbles upon a priest that later comes to save him.The points of difference are based off the spoilers that I read.According to the spoiler the seme here is obsessed with the preist but he isn't intending on dying with him he actually makes the priest go through this miserable practice so that he decides that being with him will be better than going through this.And in the end he breaks the priest's legs and confines him to a room where he lives with him. And the spioler below is directly copied from where I read it which tells us about what ensued as they both ran away..

"It seems like Noah will save Agatho by setting the church on fire and everyone else inside. Noah takes him to somewhere, lemon happens and Agatho sleeps. When he wakes up, realizes he can't speak bcs his tongue was cut off and can't walk anymore, Noah decided to continue the cult thing by himself. The end.

Now you can yourself read 'my god'it is 2 chapter long story and you'll realise that instead of yaoi being inserted in the form of let's go to heaven together and the cult thing nothing at all is the same.
The seme in my god is drugged by the cult,he has a sad past so when the cult leader tells him that he has to take someone with him to heaven he decides it would be Ross and that ross should be tankfull because they both would be able to be happy that way.They have sex and the Cliff(seme) THEN develops romantic feelings towards him.taking adv of this Ross runs from this cult and reports it to the police and saves cliff who now believes in the right god.And the romance between Ross and cliff continues as the priest is unable to deny him.
Now it hasn't been 9 yrs since I started reading yaoi,but I DONT think At ALL. That they are the same.The way you got angry I am not even going to try and convince you this is just for the commenter who originally wanted to support the author.

The same line is what?"let's go to heaven together"?is that such a unique line in the cult concept?There is no gang rape in 'my God' even.

What's the same type of place they shared? Both the priest were in churches,is that it?

In 'my God' the seme mets the priest while he is injured when trying to rob a store manager where he talks about how his god ordered him to do this and due to his curiosity the priest follows him and is lead into their cult hideout where In the name of fruit of happiness the people were made to take drugs which got them high so they felt like God was easing their pain indeed.Here he is then trapped on the order of the cultleader and also the same orders the seme to use the preist to reach heaven.Calling them copies is the same as calling out all omegaverse to be copy.

This story is more focused on the obsession of the boy with the priest while my god potrays how vulnerable people get trapped in cult groups and how love can help save tem.
