To this day this story remains no. 1 on my list. I don't know, i forgot why anymore. It's been so long since I last reread this, but I still keep recommending it to people. I just remember feeling so...satisfied? with everything in the story that it feels like there was no flaw. I remember starting this just for the romance, but the plot was so interesting, it even got me hooked on their politics too, and it didn't feel like reading a typical BL at all. I think with less of the intimate scenes, and more focus on the plot, this could've been a good story on a different genre. If you're reading comments, deciding if you wanna pick this up or not, you definitely should. It's beautiful, as far as I remember. Idk if you'll like it as much as I do, but I guarantee it's a good read.
i’m the same way. it’s been and will continue to be my number 1. what a though provoking and compelling story, and it just instantly draws you into their world. i think about this story every so often and just smile
