Try "Detective Academy Q". The cases are really interesting & multilayered. So you have got a lot of thinking to do. It'll seem a bit childish at 1st but once the riddles/questions/cases start rolling you'll love it.

You can also try "Detective Conan" which has a magnetizing main story as well as separate cases with a lil bit of romance. It's 1 of the MUST READ for detective manga lovers but, it's pretty long(ove 900 chapters). So avoid this one if you are just looking for a quick read.

PS. Both of this mangas have anime adaptation. Both of them are worth watching & recommended too.

I personally like Detective Conan. The author also made a manga about a magician Thief called Magic Kaito, and in the anime sometimes they crossover. Detective Conan is also nice that you can probably find the beginning of any case and it's easy to pick up and read, then stop
