It's frustrating how everyone in the palace suspects her of everything. Like, are you guys Harry Potter whose always sure that it's always Draco Malfoy who causes trouble?
Anyways, the stepmother before did so many things to be hated but actually, she just wanted to be loved or at the very least, be acknowledged by the King. She is his Queen after all. His wife. Even if they have a bad relationship, at least be decent enough and try to be civil with her. The King doesn't necessarily need to touch her to treat her better right? After all the King married her and even after not knowing that it's not the same person anymore, the King still doesn't want to take another Queen.
But if it was me, I'd rather get a divorce than to stay in a loveless marriage. Although I don't believe in love, it's better than to be in a relationship where you have to always be cautious of your partner.
And yes, I hate it when people ask me whether I have a boyfriend or not, especially when it's my family that starts asking. I'll just grow old alone, no need to bother about me.
Do you guys really want spoilers? Cause I can give you some
So I read some spoilers of this from novel updates and I don't think I can continue reading cause I just feel unfair with what would happen...
So from what I've read, Arjen will give all his imperial magic powers to Arien to protect her, though it was only supposed to be half, he accidentally gave all of it to her.
From then on, he worked more on practicing his swordmanship to not be powerless, while Arien grew up to be one of the strongest magician and ends up being with their guardian (I think?). And Arjen stays single cause he is very focused on being a knight.
I can't bear to continue reading after discovering this cause I know how happy and connected Arjen was with his imperial powers and just the thought of him having that taken away (wether he wanted to or not) just seemed so unfair ╥﹏╥

The more I’m talking about is the way I feel, yeah Arjen is happy but this may take awhile for me to except the fact that Arjen giving his imperial powers to Arien is not a bad thing but the thought that it was his power and he didn’t mean to give Arien all of it makes sad. And so he focused on practicing his swordsmanship so that he won’t be powerless. Boy that just sounds so sad (/TДT)/
It has been spoiled. Lol. Anyways, that's about it. Arien will probably be put in a dangerous situation, I think it's because of that Forest Kingdom's Prince or maybe it's even later than this, just that Arjen, in order to save her gives all his powers to her. And Jason, their guardian, will end up with Arien. But the most annoying thing about it is, Jason who is the guardian of the twins won't protect Arjen cause he'll only be protecting Arien.
I mean it was either that or let arien die. does arien even get a chance to use or show off her magic like at all, to make it seem like its even important enough to argue about? (sure they talk about it) but do they play a consistent function in this daily life, family friendly centric plotline??
if we were always told the mc from One Punch Man was super macho strong off screen, but we never got to see him punch any enemies and there was no action in the story at all, would there even be any point to it? sounds like arien is strong because the plot says she is, not because we see her use any magic and this is what I'm getting at.
most of the time everyone is just standing around talking in a room or drinking tea, there is barley any action, when even by himself without a sword, argen still has a magic guardian, 5 protective brothers, and a very scary father (and a dragon later on) to do magic for him. most of the people in that world generally cant do magic without some kind of special background or heritage, so he still would be able to overpower the vast majority of people with sword skills alone.
kid has plot armor up the wazoo. same for arien.
It took so long for him to come back to Earth that I already forgot who the people they are talking about. Like.....what the hell? Who is she? Who is he? Who am I? I am not....me. Lol. Just kidding, but seriously though. This started fine, and now we're in Chapter 580. This had a little more solid plot than the others so I started reading this last year and I honestly enjoyed it. But then every arc takes so long and it has a lot of characters to remember too that I already forgot who these other people are, like aside from Chen Fan/Chen Beixuan and that Auntie Tang, everyone else is just.....a blur. Heck, I even forgot the name of his wife. That's just how long the other planet arc was.
I was happy for nothing. Please, fix it. The chapters are wrong.
