Thank you for bringing this up to! Like thinking past the rape there was SO MUCH more wrong with this story and the rape didn't help. LIke WHY do they have naptime? WHY can't they eat food outside of school? WHY did the mom feel like it was OK to lock up her son for staying out and being afraid to be at home?? WHY are they still friends with guys who think it's totally OK to rape someone cuz you "love them"?
