Good for you! Great job! Not only did you let sensei know how much the story meant to you, you also supported other fujoshi like yourself - and me - who would love to see more of this kawaii couple. If a mangaka is annoyed by fans who enjoy their works and want more of it, I foresee some serious financial issues in their future. LOL
