The Predator's Fiancée
ch 7
I Don't Love You Anymore
ch 24, kinda feels boring to me
Inner Beauty
very very good time. i'm really glad i got to read this and finish this! honestly took me a while to get really into it but once i did it really picked up a lot. i think the thing that could be changed about this is that the beginning is quite a bit slow-paced since i don't really understand how woochan (the actor) was able to develop feelings for minjae, esp since he was so closed off, while the ending was super fast. overall, it was a really good relationship and i'm really happy with how everything developed: the storyline was interesting, the ending was satisfying, and i really loved the idea of past lives and reconnection. overall, i would say this story was a 8.7/10 since it was good but also had some slow-goings in the beginning.
My Student Can't Be a Psychopath
literally crazy time. overall kept twisting and turning and i enjoyed but wish they did a lil better with explaining the backstories of things. probs like a 8.3/10
My Starry Sky
a wild ride frfr. this manga def was A WHOLE LOT. the parents are straight garbage and i really wish some retribution could happen with them. i'm glad things ended pretty well over all and i really do think that skyler was a character that was redeemed in the end. it can be really difficult with bully stories, but i think the background and reasoning generally made sense.
anywayssss, emotions wise, i am just very glad things turned out the best they could have with these characters. i'm happy for skyler that he was able to grow and develop and can potentially have a happy relationship with yeonduk. i'm also glad yeonduk was able to have space of his own volition to make this decision about his feelings and whose life he wants to be a part of. i will say the ending does seem to be kinda abrupt especially because it completely wrapped up in 1 chapter---like the second to last chapter it felt like there were so many loose ends.
also in terms of the symbolism, metaphors, and artistic choices, I really appreciated all the decisions in terms of portraying the hairs and how that differed depending on the perspective of the characters. i loved the use of dreams as a door into locked or warped memories. i just really appreciated the depth that the author went into through these gestures. overall, i could not put down the first half and once i was forced to stop i felt like the ending didnt flow as well as it could have, but really appreciated the emotions and themes that i read. i think i might give this a 8.3/10 because it wasn't the most enjoyable read, in terms of there being so much turmoil before there was a super quick resolution. also i think i really lost steam for it after the first half.
