think of it as a reincarnation thing. the one who you see in the first chapter; the sassy looking dude with dangerous smirk on his face is a korean guy who got into Cale's body for some weird reason. as he said, he fell asleep after reading he book and tadaa, there he is already inside the body. the original cale? who knows.
i forgot the name of the korean dude (not choi han, he's the protag of the story) since i have been reading ORV (omniscient reader's viewpoint) and if i tell you his previous name, it will be a spoiler. a huge spoiler about his life and all the stuff
