This is not Ines’s third life it’s her fourth. Cancel has just remembered something Oscar said to him in what they believe is the first timeline that reveals Ines and Carcel were married in the real original timeline and Oscar with his memories trapped her in marriage their second timeline that Ines believes was the first where she was married to him as the Crown Princess and killed herself. Since she killed herself her punishment was to remember the previous timeline which started what she believes is her regression cycle

Yes!!!! and just a tweak but Oscar was always obsessed with ines and I have two spoilers about that and why carcel didn’t have memories in ‘first life’

Okay, saurrrrr way more spoilers than two and hope they make sense!
If I remember correctly “that girl” from first timeline who poisoned Ines is Oscar’s current fiance, and was his wife in first timeline too, in every timeline she’s always been jealous of Oscar wanting Ines and in the first timeline actually killed her for it. Also Oscar was so obsessed with Ines in first timeline that I think he’s the one who sent Carcel off to war in order to have Ines and Carcel died in battle and because it was not his predestined death he was able to make a wish and it wasn’t to keep his memories. I believe he wished for her to be happy whether it was with him or not (can’t fully remember but it was something like that. And yes Oscar was obsessed with Carcel but it was more about how Ines picked him in their first timeline and his main obsession has always been Ines and possessing her. Also Luciano killed Oscar in first timeline which wasn’t his predestined death so he was able to wish for his memories in order to avoid being assassinated (which subsequently gave him a false god/chosen one complex), which is how he was able to get Ines before her and Carcel fell in love again in second timeline. And to top it off, Carcel had fallen in love with Ines in every timeline.
