i knew kyungbin and yugun were really close but to see how they took care of each other even when they were kids is so heartwarming ╥﹏╥ not to mention they have good set of parents who showed a good example for them
is that joong (ji ho's middle sister) from robber x lover ╥﹏╥ i didn't expect that crossover i suddenly miss them alreadyyyy
after reading this, i didn't know how i was able to tolerate all the toxic (and borderline psycho) bls i've read before. like, why can't we make more stories like this? this manhwa managed to tackle friendship, actual lbtq struggles, and family problems all without those unrealistic, heavy scenes and plot lines. anyway, this just gave me more reasons to love this manhwa more
tbh i don't find leila annoying, so far she just admires mc's skills and sees him as an inspiration. as long as she's not yet portrayed as someone that's supposed to be strong but turns out to be a damsel in distress (which is tbh the writer's fault atp), y'all's hate is just misogyny lol
i really love the way jaewon's character is flawed, like damn he actually has a personality aside from being a fuck machine. he may be a bitch but at least he knows it (love a self-aware king) and u can actually see his gradual change
most manhwas also only narrate the uke's pov and we finally got to have a seme one. this sht is rly 10/10
this is definitely like a fetish content for furries lol but im staying for the art and i've been enjoying it so far
also, y'all shouldn't complain abt seeing weird sht here. u read weird sht, u get weird sht, periodt.
my computer may be running on windows xp but it's still smarter than wtv shit translated this
read this a year ago but was unable to leave a comment back then bcs i fell down into a deep rabbit hole on wth is this all about.
i had my mouth open the whole time i was reading this. just when i thought it couldn't get any worse, it fucking does. all that trauma, addiction, and undiagnosed mental health conditions really caught up to him and made him make the worst decisions imaginable. i had so many questions even after reading until the end, so i did my research and some things finally made sense.
#1. this manga was adapted from a novel by osamu dazai. this is the last novel he wrote before unaliving himself with this lover in an aqueduct, uncannily similar to what yozo did (except yozo lived bcs he hallucinated)
#2. they say this is dazai's semi-autobiography, so yozo's thoughts and experiences were probably actually his
#3. yozo/dazai may have had autism, but we don't know for sure bcs he's dead, undiagnosed, and these things were quite unknown during the time it was written (it was written in 1940s)
so yeah, i hope it helped yall understand yozo's character. he's not just a dick or a coward just bcs he wanted to, he had been through many traumas and a probable neurological and developmental disorder. his brain is literally built different (⊙…⊙ )
yeo nan may seem confusing but besides communication, i think he also needs space. dal guk gave him a lot of time but he's still confused bcs dal guk kept clinging and pushing his boundaries (it's obvious that yeo nan is not ready for some things). yeo nan's childhood shows he isn't used to affection but loves dal guk, hence the push and pull.
they need to be apart for a while so that yeo nan can self-reflect and realize that he's worthy of love while dal guk needs to just let him come to him on his own when he's finally ready.
haon's ass is a whole storage compartment lol or sum multidimensional sht that fits anything
