I thought the same as evoushi. from the promo I kinda thought that this story will be different in means like a cold fight for the throne, harsh environment, different talk, manipulation, and not this low-budget cutness bullshit...like wtf??? I thought this is finally gonna be a good story and not the same stuff as those 20+ picked-up promos but I guess the universe decided to shit on my head cuz succession to the trone is like this right with cutness? like you ain't wrong on anything my friend like how can you be such a dumb person at age 3000 like that just doesn't make sense at all. plus all her personality is her being this super powerful arrogant witch with magic power like what is that??? no family, just the usual orphan with trauma cuz that really relatable for everybody and what was she doing in all those 3000+ years??? making potions? dying her hair in different colors? playing the flute? because from the story we know she just magically got her powers with no work maybe she did some self-improvement but that would have lasted just for the first 100 years and then what? she just lived in the woods?
like I'm not trying to be disrespectful but she is just that an unfinished character whit nothing but the cutness and that kinda sad... and all that I will play dumb and weak part was because....it's more beneficial? NO, No, no she would have been killed as soon as she would have been known for being weak, The smart thing would have been to play strong but not too much, so you wouldn't be a big threat but you would have been useful. One reason for the king to have all those children was that there would be a bigger chance of getting a super strong child that would rule and protect the county better than the weak children so his interest is to eliminate the weak and train the strong. Some may say but he knew she was 5star but she never did anything to prove herself, she just sad papa and smiled, and is nobody gonna talk about how this is stupid?
