You can see the feelings development and he goes from not giving 2 shits about anything to actually doing his best to protect the mc from the government)
Also, the side characters r very relevant and loveable + an amazing plot.

probably bcause SL is kinda OG in these RPG style manhwa and maybe you have to read the novel too
im sure it is! it was probs way less generic when it first came out (~2013 i believe?), but i started reading way back in 2017 and still wasn't a fan. originality =/ quality for me. my issue isn't with the setting and moreso with how the characters are written. i hope that the SL anime rly paves the way for more korean manhwa to get more adapted (although im rly disappointed that tog had to walk so SL could run)
