The mastermind was obviously the uncle who survived the stab wound and Alfius, the silver hair guy dad. The son betrays his dad because of his love for her.He stepped down as a suitor because his family was the source of her suffering.

And also, Lucas will be the one to save her and help regain Claude's memories with the help of the magic tree. He's going to stick a tree shrapnel on Claude's head to make him remember. It doesn't kill him but Athy kinda panicked a little thinking Lucas killed her dad (LOL). This saving thing happened on Athy's 15th birthday so theoretically Lucas has been gone for months and Athy was by herself, concealing her appearance and running away from Claude who's gone a bit psycho because of Black Magic. By where we are now in the current webtoon raws, I'm thinking that this would be the next thing that's gonna happen. Athy being forgotten and Claude hurting here. We must brace ourselves!! And Season 1 is ending on Chapter 46, it will be out by February 10. I have no idea if the illustrator is gonna take a break though, but more likely, she will.

From what I’ve read in the forum, Athy ended up with Lucas. Ijekiel gave up because his family was the cause of Athy’s suffering. Jenette became good friends with Athy and constantly exchanges letters with her; she was a good kid all along. All in all, the story focused more on fixing and healing the broken family from the originial novel.

Okayyy. So I've read the raws thanks to the link below and I gotta say, I ain't believing in SHIT until I see a burnt corpse that is that actually identifies as SangWoo. I do not want a half-assed ending where Bum gets to live his life while SangWoo is lurking in the shadows, waiting for a chance to kill him. It's either SangWoo dies or the both of them die. That's the only acceptable ending to this. Happy endings for this webtoon have been inexistent since the very first chapter. I want a batshit crazy ending
