Yeah you missed the hints showing that taeha’s actual mom died and was sick in the hospital. The older brother constantly mentioning that taeha is illegitimate. And the mom of taehee talking about taehee (her son) to the dad (there was a mistranslation that switched their names, it was supposed to say taehee not taeha)

I love each and every one of the characters as they were never really evil from the start; their actions were just a result of their circumstances.
