Reading the newest chapter makes it clear. Being a victim doesn't mean you aren't a bully. A person whose been ridiculed for what they were wearing doesn't guarantee they'll be nice to somebody else whose different. I love how this manwah is about realistic characters, actual consequences, and that maybe, we should be more accepting. You see how freaking far we are from that ideal when you read all the hateful comments.
I find it hilarious the comments are so eager to vilify her and using it as a "this should be Yaoi!" Like no? She's a person who did something shitty. And all the characters will have to deal with it. It's not some precursor for our MC to run into the guy's arms.
I'm not a very serious person. So sorry if I sound off.
But I never really take the shipping or whatever seriously. Sure some may prefer that, but I don't think they're desperate for it.
Of course, that's what I'm getting from the comments around here. None of them seem extreme. The ones that are, but still lighthearted (I can't take emotes seriously) don't even mention ships.
For me, the shipping isn't the issue. Of course readers will have their biases. And when the two frontrunning most developed characters are guys, it's more than likely they'll pair them together. What I don't like is when the female character does something wrong, it's used as "evidence" that MC should be with the guy.
Lol, I feel like I'm going into discourse mode if I continue writing in this thread but it's... Critique her for invading someone's private space or that she felt betrayed because of his hobby that didn't involve her whatsoever. Don't judge her on the idea that because she's female and felt discriminated at some point in her life should validate that she shouldn't be capable of being a judgemental person.
I wish the scanlators wouldn't put those extra panels. I'm not interested in the kinks in those snippets and seeing it every chapter is really annoying. ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
You can thumb my comment down all you want. I still don't agree with having one manga reading experience being polluted by the translators with pages from another manga. I came to read that specific manga, not the doujinshi. I hope you continue clicking the thumbs down because no matter how big the dislike count becomes, I will never prefer having to suddenly come across those extra pages. Good luck and happy reading.
Is it cheating? They haven't been emotionally compromised while doing either sexual acts. In the sense of, they're not going to leave each other just because they had sex with other people. Is it uncomfortable to see that they're performativly cheating on each other? Yes. But these two are adults and are clearly devoted to each other no matter what they do. Does that devotion to a partner mean you can only be with one sexual partner for a given time? Do we as people not involved in that relationship get to make that kind of judgment? I'm relating this out of fiction but this has been the most thoughtful interpretation of relationships and partner integrity I've read in a while. I can't help but relate the contents to a broader spectrum.
I also believe the cheating is a part of getting more scenes to draw hot sex but eh.
Gurl, mangaka, I am so sick of cliffhangers. Like yay! But also, no??? Now Ren is probably going to assume she recovered so quickly because she saw Sho. And how is the manager going to be able to cover two stars? Unless he neglects one of them. But tbh, I think Kyoko is going to refuse. She'd be riding on Ren's coattails, you know? It seems mangaka wants to milk new "rival" character. Haaaaaaaaa....
Just when I thought we l would eave off on a nice note, she comes with us. Aghhhh, mangaka, why??? But this is also sort of suspicious? She's had moments with Sho where Ren had no idea about it. Is this... a convenient plot point or is it... a crucial moment on the Ren and Kyoko train? Find out dozens of chapters later!
You do remember that Lory's butler saw them and he was talking to Lory about it afterwards, right?
So cute I want to die. ┗( T﹏T )┛
