I looove this manga and I looove making theories about the whole plot line. So the following are my theories/questions or anything I want to blab but have no one to talk to because my friends weren’t reading this manga.
I have this theory that maybe, Athy is really the REAL Athy. What if when she died (in the novel The Lovely Princess), she got reincarnated in the real world but she lost her previous life’s memories so she lived her normal life. Then she got to read The Lovely Princess novel and was then transported into the novel. She always thought she was living Athy’s life not knowing Athy was her past life. Maybe someone close to Athy, using magic, made The Lovely Princess novel, and made it also possible for Athy to time-travel. Maybe that person did it so Athy will have her happy ending. She was inside the novel to correct what was wrong. She was inside the novel to claim what was rightfully hers.
So that was my theory.
A big question: who wrote the novel The Lovely Princess? Curious, curious.
Then next. LUCAS. My baby boy. He wasn’t in The Lovely Princess novel. So it means he has a bigger role in Athy’s story. GO LUCAS!

Really interesting theory! One thing I that caught my attention (correct me if I'm wrong) is that Athy has a lot of overflowing magic, however, that was never mentioned in the Lovely Princess novel. So I guess to kind of fit into your theory, maybe in the original story she never knew or showed any signs of having any powers but when she was executed maybe her powers awoke and she somehow got reincarnated ??? (if that makes sense)

I have a theory to add....what if jennette was the one who wrote the novel?
I read one of the spoilers posted here and he/she said that jennette's happy ending was just an illusion.
So, maybe Jennette was also reincarnated into the real world just like Athy( according to you). Then writes "Lovely princess" with jennette's happy ending which is only an illusion. She writes the novel thinking it is out of creativity but it is in fact "past memories"
This is just theory to support your theory. Hehehehehe
