I think it’s a possibility that Ed’s brother/friend is going to try and rape Ed or blackmail him into having sex with him. Probably because he found out about Ed’s videos.
This is just a hypothesis.

But I have no clue what’s happening in this story. What even is an auditor?
Auditor is like an investigator in financial/business sector. Internal company auditor means, that person investigates the conduct of other employee. They work under assumption that there's a mistake and auditor works to prove them. If it turns out to be okay, like turns out its just simple miss filing or miss conception, then it's okay. But if they found there's a deliberate law breaking, forgery etc, then they have to make a report that could cost the person they're investigating's job.
So this story is a very interesting take of an ex-salesman turns auditor and an eager and passionate salesman. There's a power play that each character are respecting yet makes their relationship imbalance. because auditor's position is technically higher than your usual salesman sooo they're scared they could blurted things that could jeopardize each's job
And auditor are usually depicted as cold and very work oriented, that's why our MC is often alone and build very high walls. Whereas the salesman is really just an overly friendly guy who wants to be friends with our MC..
You don't have to be dumb to not know these things... I didn't know either.. Like hell i d know how insurance companies work. Ask Google instead :D one of my friends is auditor for some company, I have no idea what he actually does in his job
