Imo it's no more or less fanservicey than other comics in the same genre. The fanservice to fight scene ratio greatly favors fights, it just happens to have cheesy moments. And they're not even setting up a love triangle. Huijin 100% trusts him. She immediately stops worrying the second he explains. Like lol what he and Bom are just friends that awkwardly get smashed together in suboptimal ways
I know exactly who the authors are and I could guess they’re antsy to include fanservice due to their previous work. Still shouldn’t expect that in every work they make though (especially on the official translation on webtoon when there’s strict guidelines there). That’s just not great writing in general if they can’t stick to the genre and feel the need to add more extra in there. They did well with at least spacing out fanservice in the beginning to middle. Lately it’s been happening way too often though.
