Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the ML is a good guy or that all his current actions are justified- only that he has every right to be mad at his ex-wife. She should be facing guilt. And then she has the audacity to act like the one thrown away by him in public to get public opinion on her side. As well as chasing after him after her other man is gone. And according to novel spoilers, she does worse things in the future and absolutely is not just innocent.

I agree with u, and the ml didn’t even shame her for being pregnant, he just treated coldly which i suppose is to be expected I mean duh and I feel like she definitely found out about the pregnancy before the wedding night even if she didn’t know before the arranged marriage was decided cuz I mean the scene that they showed was the wedding night and her saying sry I’m pregnant etc. plus she chose to leave him, took her son, went back to her hometown and got back to together with her ex (baby daddy) who killed himself then her son died of illness and it even said in the story that while she was with her baby daddy she was thinking and feeling guilty towards the ML like girl make it make sense u left him he didn’t kick her out. He has every reason to treat her like this

I get that it’s sad and that she will be sad but that’s not on him to console her? She was in her hometown completely separated from him when she lost her child to illness. Girl what?? I think you need to reread the timeline of events. She felt guilty BEFORE losing her side dude and kid. Her guilt was her own fault and had nothing to do with losing her child. He didn’t blame her for losing her kid. What she decided to do AFTERWORDS after losing her kid and child was messed up. She ACTED innocent and got the public to be on her side when this is all her fault in the first place for deciding to have sexual intercourse with someone else KNOWING she will not be married to her side dude and may have the possibility of becoming pregnant or deciding to reject the marriage and go elope if she had to.

Nobody is arguing that the prince isn’t messed up since he does have a messed up mindset and uses people. However EVERYTHING that went wrong with his first marriage was all HER fault and not his. He only GUILT tripped her when she told him she was pregnant and just said she should’ve lied if she wanted to continue the marriage. But she decided to divorce and have a whole contract agreement with the country to keep it a secret that her baby’s father aint the prince’s child. She felt guilt because SHE was the one in the wrong and also developed feelings for the prince despite having a new life with her child and husband. Then her husband unalived himself due to her acting like this. The child passing away was a whole different thing. The prince did nothing to cause her suffering and she’s suffering due to her own behavior.

Plus I don’t see how losing a child relates to what she’s doing now. CURRENTLY she’s acted sad in front of the public and WANTS to get back together with him. Idk if I read about that , I was thinking that while she was in her hometown with her ex she found out about him losing his crown prince position etc due his divorce and everything that happened with her and that’s why she started to feel guilty and that she subconsciously started to missing things from her life in the capital which her baby daddy started to noticed but what u said does make more sense but then I wonder why he lost his crown prince position if they had an agreement? Maybe his parents wasn’t aware of it? But I feel like his parents had to be otherwise they wouldn’t have let his “child” go so easily and done more when he was sick

I don’t remember clearly if it’s a spoiler or not, but if I remember correctly, the two kingdoms secretly knew about how the child wasn’t his. They exchanged something in order to keep her reputation. I can’t remember what it was he got in return though. They promised not to reveal that the child wasn’t his. But in the end, she did get exposed and the whole truth came out (it wasn’t revealed by him or his family though).

I just reread the chapter and saw what u said. And they had already been in talks about marriage before she even meet her lover at a party and she still slept with him then got married. And honestly she could have pretended it was the princes child’s but he had never slept with her up till the point she found out she was pregnant. She left less then a year after the wedding with basically a newborn child smh

Okay I read more spoilers again, so to confirm: the ML agreed to keep the secret about the princess’s child in exchange for beneficial contracts coming from her country to his country. He supposedly was the only one who knew for a while until the truth was revealed later. He just decided to step down as crown prince and let his brother become crown prince. I don’t remember if they said why, he just enjoyed his free time being divorced and doing whatever he wants while also doing his duties as a regular prince.
