Ok, maybe not related to this story itself, but it would be nice to have an actual story about rejection and how to deal with it.
When the seme started to wonder about how much he became dependent on Rio and wanting to monopolising him, I started to really wonder... how would a character like that react if the other member of the couple did not feel the same way or rejected him?
I am not talking yaoi style where a no means a yes.
I mean, how would he come to acceptance of the deception, the one-sided emotion, etc....
How would they accept that his emotion and his partner emotion needs to both be validated to acceptance and how to deal with it.
That, I would like to read.
I was hoping that Ryo would've actually firmly stop seeing Kyosuke after seeing him with the (I'm assuming) girlfriend and us seeing Kyosuke having to really fight to prove his love, not obsession by breaking up with her and then gently wooing Ryo back into his arms. The manga totally glossed over that so we still don't really know if was totally single and all for Ryo. Kyosuke is hot AF, but seems to also be used to getting his way because he's so hot and probably from a rich family.
I actually really liked this, and the end as well. But man, they definetly both need therapy, and I wish the rape/kidnaping issue was address. It just look like the end is a blurry 'let's forget it ever happen vibe', which to me is undoubtedly ridiculous. There is no way you forget that. Sure, they are both messed up, and what I like is that the story doesn't stop at showing us two broken people, and imply they are healing. Still. 2/3 chapter post Warehouse to see the character/psychological development would have been great.
But wasnt it adressed tho. In the burnt warehouse when Dogyun said he couldnt walk away from sungho he said Your crazy you even raped me etc as well as the time sungho even called himself a monster and wasn't the same and the he will pay the price one day. Oh and when dohyun said staying will only bring him pain.
I can't tell if Chowon is genuine or not. I am fearing he is forcing himself to appologize because he wants something, and what is hard for him is to have his pride hurt, and not because he really realised what he did was wrong.
I feel like he had a moment of realisation when he saw the vision of himself saying that he wants to kill everyone. He realised that he wasn't the victim and that he is capable of hurting other people, and that genuinely scared him. That's why he panicked and took to many meds, trying to quickly silence that part of him. Now that he has had time to think he knows that a quick fix isn't possible and that he has actual victims. If he can also become a human being worthy of the person he loves, it's a bonus. That's my reading of it.
Oh fuck. He is so pretty and THEY ARE SO FUCKING CUTE !!!!
