Ok, I haven't started reading, but... when they mean SS, they don't mean Gestapo SS right?

I really like this so far.

2 things though.

1. I am getting concerned the story isn't going anywhere yet.
- Don't get me wrong, I like the interactions and the drama... but so far, we have seen nothing of an actual plot. There is so many direction and material, but it's already chapter 32 and we are still in the dark with where this story is going.
- The issue with just drama and anecdotal information is that it works in a slice of life, but this has such a more 'thriller vibe'

2. Characters are slightly inconsistent.
- That's no much, but, Chris doesn't seem to have any strong personality yet. He is just the nice friend who 'tries' to get yoon. But... what about the fact he keeps saying he is a police officer, but lives with a money launder and has been LITERALLY helping yoon make transaction for the Red mafia??
- Like... is he a dirty cop? Does he just pick law that he care about? What's up with that? Until we know more, he is inconsistent in my eyes.

- The cousin. Slightly more consistent...but his reasoning for ATTEMPTING murder is sooo weak. Like, there was other route they could have tried with him.


- Vasya. The most interesting so far, but ALL OVER THE PLACE. So, let's see where that will go.

- Yoon. So far so good. Kinda not consistent as well, but that can be explain.

- Kay. The most disappointing so far... I had SO MUCH HOPE, and new right away he was undercover... I was hoping CIA or FBI. But like... Wtf. The guys goes all the way to fake his own death, and then randomly just shows his face again without a real plan, or support. He is (so far) a complete incompetent.
- He (also as a police officer) introduce a civilian to a HEAD mafia. + Had sex with his assistant from his fake job... (work ethic, where are you?).
- The only reason why he shows up to Yoon is like... romantic? Like you couldn't get over that ass, so you are risking your ENTIRE cover , to give him a weak chip?
- Like... We ALL know that this isn't going to work. Where is the organise police? Where is the actual planning?
- Yes, I guess Kay isn't that bad... but... I have been use to SO good character in the past that were in Kay's position, and in comparison... Kay is... ugh.

I loved that anime so much. I finally after 8 years got the courage to come and read the manga.

This story got messy. It was very clear with interesting characters up until Keith cheated. And then... The uke personality almost completely shifted. The few following chapter didn't make sense and felt... edited?

I don't know if you guys feel the same way, but that's what I get from the last 10 chapters or so... and it is a shame.

Even, Keith. After that point... Keith's persona kinda jumped all around, but NEVER through a character development. While he didn't have an arc, he had a sort of clear interesting charisma and moral(?) -> Like he was already toxic, but he had also a very clear cut in his personality and was (1) very direct on his opinion and (2) His actions were never random. He was a businessman with (bad, but) standards. That was definitely lost.

After that point as well. a few characters where added to the story, but never fully introduced...? and just... everyone's actions or development just trown out of the window in a very unclear pattern....

I wonder if the author's editing team decided to switch the story, or if the author got interrupted or someone intervened in their writing... bc something that made this story above others and very good was lost on the way...

This had so much potential.

This used to be so common in yaoi, but I feel as the genre became more popular, better more well-written stories with deeper character development came out, and now this type of one way simple *abusive* plots are almost painful to read.

Like, 10 years ago I would have barely reacted, but now, I agree that this is questionable at most. Rape is too easily accepted and EXCUSED by the victim. Additionally, no character seems to have the ability to have realistic emotional maturity.

This type of manga will sadly die I think as we are starting to have a way larger range of stories to read from.

Also... NO-ONE can get a dominatrix vibe from Hisaki?! Lol, where did that come from. I was waiting for him to go all dominatrix at some point and noooope. XX

Gosh, I know it's awful but I am SO HAPPY that I got to see for the first time some Female Alpha x Male Omega sex.
