I'm just going to say that this type of mindset is lowkey offensive. I feel like some of you really don't stop and think beyond your fetishes about some of the things you guys say.

Tho the original commentators post could’ve been worded differently. It’s actually more common to find gay switches then there are exclusive top and bottoms. Some gay and lesbian people even express how they don’t like how people assume there’s strictly a top and bottom in homosexual relationships like there is a top and bottom in heterosexual relationships.

I know that, but that comment was just not it. Even if switching is more common, it doesn't negate the fact that there are same sex couples that don't switch and that there are queer people who prefer to be bottom/top. There's same sex couples that don't even do penetration, which is more common than you think.

I never said or believe that a bottom becomes a woman, but there are guys out there who are strict bottoms/tops too just like there are same sex couples out there who don't switch. There are also lots of same sex couples who don't even do penetrative sex (yet I don't see people calling for rep for that either). It happens, so all of that is realistic too. So them saying what's the point of having x genetitals because both don't put it in IS indeed offensive because things said can be applied irl too.

I agree that there could be more representation in BL of different types of couple (switch, non-penetrative, etc), but I'm not going to sit in the comment section on mangago and whine about it. Nor am I going to go on the author's twitter like some folks and harass them. At this point as long as the relationship has no rape, I'm happy.

We already know how BL is at this point and it doesn't look like it's changing any time soon, as their biggest target and audience are Asian women at the end of the day.

people are allowed to voice their criticisms and u have no right to say they shouldnt. and also i never said u believed that, but theres an underlying subconscious belief in BL that bottoms become like women and can no longer top. and also, most gay men can switch, they just have preferences. so then why do almost all BLs not have some degree of switching?? its heteronormativity and it needs to be called out

Not to the point of harassing the authors, no ma'am they do not have that right. And I never said that people can't say what they want, I'm just saying it's not something that I'M not going to do.

You are free to criticize, it's your right, and there are lots of problems with this genre I agree but I'm going to reiterate:
