I really loved the story up till chapter 42!! After that, the story just took a turn that I just didn’t come to like at all.initially it seemed like love and affection was blossoming between them despite all the crazy shit but after ch. 42 it felt like there was only lust and obsession between them not actual love. I get that this isn’t supposed to be a normal story but I couldn’t get onboard with the dynamic of their relationship after that point and the story was just unappealing
I went to the bookstore the other day and I was surprised to find at last they finally printed Kings Maker volume 1 in English it really goes to show how far we’ve come!!! I’m so sad their story is ending but also happy at the same time. Everything was worth it in the end I’ll miss my boys so much but I’m so happy to have gone on this journey with them
After all these years I have three critiques 1.) it kinda sucks that the author gave more lore concerning both Muyeong and Junseok’s background and development but didn’t really give any to Seonho his only lore is that he’s a comic writer but we don’t know anything about his family or anything else. Wish they would’ve gone through a whole point where we learned how he gravitated towards art and more about his issues with his previous relationships etc… and 2.) they randomly gave us this small lore drop about how Muyeong has always been a fan of Seonho but they hardly elaborated on it at all after that first time in the beginning and then they just dropped the reveal so it wasn’t even exciting. I wish they would’ve gone into Seonho’s struggles as an artist and how because of it he doesn’t have a lot of friends either etc…
3.) the grandmother was hella petty and her presence didn’t really end up adding much to the story other than her actions resulting in Muyeong moving in with Seonho.
I really like the story but I feel like it didn’t reach its full potential

What the fuck did I just read the art was good but this was NOT it
