If I were him I would've told Shin Sooah the truth. Just her, no one else necessarily. It's the best way for her to be prepared and know her enemy. It's better than leaving her to die on her own, or staying with her while always withholding information. Plus, she's strong, smart, loyal and definitely an asset no matter how I see it.
