Do all awakened ones have a God they took in except Seo Gangrim. Or does taking in a God not related to awakening considering Gangrim was a child when he got the offer? I know there's a novel for this story with +100 chapters but I haven't read it.
I think it is a special case. Not all awakened have gods but special ones do. The start of the story is a "mass" awakening of players. Prior to this awakeners like the Fate Protection Agency already existed or Seo Gangrim's shaman master but they were more of a secret society and few in numbers. I reckon the God after Seo Gagngrim are like the gods who were watching over the Trials and looking for awakeners to sponsor. His is just a little more powerful.
How should I describe this? It's good, the art is beautiful, there is a solid plotline and the flow is harmonious. But, the writing is so good that it is in fact, charged with emotions. Not the fuzzy type of emotions either, more like frustration, anxiety and the desperate need to survive. Imagine being reincarnated in a "fromSoftware" game! That's the vibe!! There is no rest in this story, the MC goes from one dire situation to the next and It's giving me second hand stress. There are no gentle sides in here, it's a fucking battlefield with no end in sight. And the mysteries behind the black lake are also adding to the suspense. I will continue reading this, but I'm taking a short break first.
Am I the only one who felt like this chapter was like "the calm before the storm"....I mean, the creepy light entity in the mirror, the way the 3 friends were having a moment, the fact that Shirone told the villagers he's attending a magic academy (although he's a commoner), the fact that he's so excited he got his first book.....
Ugh, the whole chapter felt so ominous.
A simple conversation can really do wonders lol
I'm hoping for extras and side stories please
