anyway although the ending is not too happy since it's clear deeta is still suffering from the guilt of his murders proving that he's starting to feel human again. i found it realistic as forgiving yourself takes a long time, and sometimes a lifelong process. the important thing is that he's taking the time to contemplate and come to terms with his crimes. he may not feel fully happy now with taichi by his side, but i'm sure he'll be able to smile and forgive himself someday.
