he took advantage of ml’s amnesia and he runs away like he shouldn’t be apologizing instead. idk what the author is thinking, maybe they haven’t interacted with a human before. this isn’t reasonable human behavior lol. it’s not the ml’s fault that he regained his memories. imagine regaining your memories and turns out some dude took advantage of it to get in a relationship with you, what a creep.
This masquerade would have never started if the seme did not pretend to be amnesic.
This masquerade would have never lasted if the seme did not go along with the uke's lie.
This masquerade would have never escalated if the seme was not gaslighting the uke into a physical relationship.
You know what is evil? It's knowing that someone is doing bad and actually assisting them in doing worse. The Seme is the one who benefited the most from this moquerie. He was totally enjoying it and took it as the greatest opportunity of his life.
kid lol the uke’s lie had every bit of fraud. learn some morals or something. I can tell you have never taken a philosophy or a law class. it was the uke who gaslighted first. the uke isn’t a minor who can be “influenced” all of his actions are actions he took because he wanted to do it. how can u be so unempathetic lol you’re self-inserting too much as the uke. the uke took it as the greatest opportunity of his life first. it seems like you are the one who got amnesia lol
"I can tell you have never taken a philosophy or a law class." Way to tell me you are more wrong than you already sound with all these ad personam.
Anyway.
The Seme was never amnesic in the first place. The Seme has always loved the Uke and didn't expect his "joke" to turn out so well when the Uke "conveniently" introduced himself as his lover. Don't you understand the story?
great observation on your first paragraph! i meant that lol
let’s hypothesize, imagine you are sleeping, then someone takes advantage of your incapacity to get in your pants, but then you weren’t actually sleeping, you were just pretending. who is the rapist in this scenario? does being the wiling victim make you the perpetrator? are you the type to blame women because of what they wear too?
I am talking about what really happened in this story, not some random scenari. What are the imagination and hypothesis for? We have two liars and one is definitely facing more information asymmetry.
I don't know why you are so desperate on defending the Seme. The one starting the physical relationship was the Seme, not the Uke. I don't think the Uke is a Saint, but that's definitely fallacious to imply the Seme is deserving empathy.
Using your far-fetched exemple, I should infer that the Uke is the victim. The Seme took "advantage of" the Uke's "incapacity to get" out of his lie unscathed. Seme knew very well the Uke was lying about being his lover; Uke was "just pretending" to be his but he wasn't "actually" his lover. Does being a "willing victim", while accepting the Seme's sexual advances, makes him the "evil" "perpetrator"? Are "you the type to blame the uke" because of dubcon or of how oblivious they are about their first love's mischievous side?
No need to answer, it's just rhetoric. I don't care about what type of individual you are: I don't gamble on ad hominem. Even if I were an @ssh0l3 as you may wish to allude, it won't change the fact the Seme was never amnesic and cornered/trapped the Uke in his lie, ironically making the Uke "le dindon de la farce".
Your literal first premise for being mad at the MC is false. Since you are so quick to assess others' academic level, you should already know what this "kid" is going to say: a conclusion is ipso facto untrue when logically derived from untrue premises.
Finally, I'm blocking this conversation since nothing insightful is coming out from this exchange. I answered all your takes and said all I needed to say.
lol the hypothesis is so you could understand this better. we have two liars, and the one who lied with worse intentions is facing the consequences. it’s not about defending the seme, this was all about how shitty the uke is. empathy is also not something someone “deserves” it is something people like you should have.
my example was a hypothesis to highlight how flawed your views are. if it seemed outrageous to you then it is your views that are outrageous.
btw, incapacity is a legal term. the uke did not just come from an accident.
it is in no way defendable in court that the committer of the fraud be released from the consequences of his own actions. only the party victim of the fraud may initiate the “backing out”
you act as if the uke doesn’t have that “mischievous” side too lol
why do you keep saying the seme never lost his memories without reasonable evidence lol. it wasnt the uke who just came out of the hospital. your premise was the one baseless thoo lol and even if the seme was lying, that still doesn’t erase the fact that the uke had evil intentions in the first place. intentions matter a lot in criminal law lol
(⊙…⊙ ) Man, you're a fighting a lost battle.

They'll be locked in a storage facility with a pet and will talk things out. If it was not obvious enough that woojin was lying, the following chapters will clarify it and they will end up happily together regardless.
Also, a stupid instance like that will never see the light in a courtroom, because both are relatively complacent with the situation, will be find guilty and somehow prosecuted for wasting court time. Settling privately or seeking couple therapies would be better.
It's a really laughable ploy but ngl very entertaining. Take it with a grain of salt. They both idiots anyway.
Yeah, it's a bummer, but you know, legality isn't always the best judge of what's right or wrong. Plus, what's legal in one place might not be in another and some morally questionble things might very well be legal. Laws are more about politics and power plays or even just plain old mistakes than actually being fair. That's why even some sketchy people can get away with stuff and why we've got those slick lawyers.
But hey, I totally agree with you about the main character being a hot mess. Not so much for what you said, though. It's more about the lack of honesty and sraightforwardness for me but deception is part of the show and I'm here to be entertained. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
idk he's too offensive in many ways. He knew about Neveah's past but he still said that, with all that oppression and taking away her rights to a proper education and childhood. How very inconsiderate and insensitive of him. I get that he's only loyal to the emperor but come on, at least treat Neveah like she's human, no need to be so rude.
this is why everybody needs some knowledge about the law on obligations and contracts. idk how it is in korea but they should be taught how to call the police.
They are gangsters, police would arrest them too I bet
