6 Reasons he shouldn't get pregnant....right now
1. Doyun's background. He spent 26 years considering himself a broken Omega so he did not even try to remember his Health 101 basics until Taehan inadvertently brought out his first heat. Doyun was really suffering trying to adjust to his 'new' omega body. Did you not see how scared he was when he could suddenly sense the alpha pheromones at work? He ran home and vomited.
2.Time...How much time has really passed in this story? Doyun has only had one heat cycle so far. It appears as though 2 months or less have actually gone by in story. He is still adjusting his own pheromones and getting used to those of others but still with Tae's help, he's not doing that on his own yet. It would be that much harder on him to get preggers on top of all that.
3. Who is Taehan? We know as much as Doyun. VERY LITTLE. He seems like a good guy, probably raised to be a responsible alpha and he is head over heels for Doyun, does that make him father material? No.

4. Budding relationship. They've just agreed to date and came out at work. And in these last two chapters they had their first date. FIRST DATE today, pregnant literally tomorrow? If that sh!t happened irl most folks would abort.Ijs. I'd like my sci fi/ fantasy to be somewhat realistic or my mind can't accept it. Im already at my limit with how omega males can get preggers through their ass. Where is the egg?, the uterus? How did ancient omegas give c sections? I chug it up to magic and roll with it.
5. Misconceptions...babies are cute.... when they sleep. Woke babies WORK their parents like slaves. Seriously if it wasn't for oxytocin cavemen would have ditched newborns and said fk the human race. The best parents are those who planned and prepared for the babies (not that those who are not prepared can't make good parents, they just have to struggle more to make it work). The best parents have strong relationships that can withstand the stress of having babies so they can focus on the joy of building their family. Doyun and Taehan don't have that yet.
6. Couple time...I can't imagine parents having steamy hot sex and couple time without paying a nanny big money cuz you can't do that sh!t with the baby wailing down the hall. I enjoy seeing D&T get closer as a couple without anything standing in the way. We know they like each other, I want them to confess they LOVE each other outside of heat/rut.

Granted, I have more life exp than the avg 25 yo so I consider more than how cute kids would be. I know authors basically torture their MCs to keep stories interesting and build more character development and though going thru a pregnancy would be cruel to Doyun I hope that doesn't happen right now. Doyun is currently angsting over his inexperience with dating and he is worried that Taehan is gonna get bored with him quickly. Taehan is still appreciating the cute and sexy sides of his bae and falling in deeper every day. I want to hold on to their lovey dovey times a bit.I wouldn't mind seeing their relationship challenged a llittle. Like maybe Taehan's parents or siblings having an issue with an alpha-looking son in law instead of the cute lil omega they were expecting or someone actively trying to steal away Doyun under the guise of helping him thru his dating angst.
Anyway, let me leave you with one more thought...the moment Doyun becomes preggers is when the author will more fully focus on the side couple. Why? Bc people buy yaois for the hot couplings not the wholesome family life.I
However, I'm all for kids after a time skip when Doyun has fully embraced being omega, D&T are comfortable in their relationship and truly cohabitating and love each other. With Doyun coming from a big family, he'll probably want a lot of children.

The original question I responded to was why are some people saying he shouldn't get pregnant. The short answer is I'm not naive enough to romanticize the impact of babies on a couple that just started dating and who barely know each other even in fiction. If you agree with my points have you been swayed to think getting preggers right now is a bad idea?

I think Doyun's bros may beat the crap out of Taehan and Doyun would have to find another job-ironically you cant do hard labor while pregnant. Whatev, I'm sure the author will make that hot mess work and focus the story on the side couple without giving the readers the details of exactly how that hot mess is gonna work.
