Is there any way where I can set in a manga so that Mangago will tell me where I left off or something like that or do I have to save the tab?

There is a "Bookmark it" option.If you bookmark the chapter and leave the manga you can pick up the excact chapter you left off in your bookmarks.

So for the Bookmarks:
1.If reading on Mobile click on the three lines on the upper right corner right next to your
notification bell. The Bookmarks option should be the 4th starting from the top of all the
other options provided there. Click on that and there you go You Bookmarks ლ(´ڡ`ლ).
2.If reading on the desk/lap top click on you profile pic on the upper right corner and the Bookmark option should be the 3rd one starting from the top of all the other options provided there. I again hope this helps (=・ω・=)
