From start to finish, perfection. Words can't describe how good this was. I was actually sad it ended. Honestly the conclusion was satisfying and it ended well, so i can't complain there. I couldn't recommend this enough!

I know A LOT of people like that there's no angst and it's all fluff but, personally, i think the fact that they're made to be all soft and innocent is a little much. I liked it in the beginning but when they're completely enamoured with basically no issues- sigh ik it's just me being a hater on this. What im completely VALID in hating for tho is the wildly exaggerated british accents. I know they're british but british people don't speak like this when i read it, it sounds to me like someone putting on a fake british accent. Which is fine to anyone who isn't british and doesn't really know what british people (specifically in their part of london) sound like, but to me this is like wayyy too much also i know they're supposed to be super rich or wtvr but even so i feel like it's overdone a bit

I have a question, how do you know it's british accent when it's just words, like you can't HEAR the accent? Like it could be a word water and I can read it in whatever accent I feel like. not to mention the fact that this work was originally published in korean, for a korean audience, and it's set in a fictional omegaverse story... the author could write them as rich and articulate as they want. end of story.

ah i get what u mean, basically it's context + the stereotypical british phrasing of things.
context: they're british, specifically living in london (+ I have a british accent, specifically from london) and oftentimes when people i meet who don't have the same accent (like they're not british) try to do the accent, they hype it up a lot, making it overly posh ig? like "oh gosh!" specific example from this chap: "yes i'd like that very much", "no matter what may come" like it's very unnatural sounding if u get what i mean...theres more examples of this where it's more prominent but i just quickly skimmed through the last chap again to give some examples, though those ones aren't as strong as i found it throughout the whole story.
if i had to put it into perspective it would be like you're role playing the british royal family (i was gonna say the queen but she's dead lol)
yeah it's probably partly the fact i have a british accent and know what it's supposed to sound like/whats a natural way of speaking and seeing that the way they speak throughout the story is unnatural and overly formal/posh

im from the city they're supposed to be from and there way of speaking is unnatural and clearly whoever translated it from korean took the fact they're british and amped it up way too much to the point where it's like strange...i have a british accent which probably adds to the unnatural feeling for me (which i understand others from around the world may not have) but to that point - i don't say "bruv" etc. (not all british ppl do lol) it wouldn't make sense for them to say that either, seeing the part of london they live in and slang terms like that aren't associated with that area (bc of socioeconomic factors ig).
+ last point: you're right to say it's been translated from korean but the person who translated could've just written it normally.
also i'm not saying the author couldn't do that if they wanted to, im just saying it was slightly jarring, calm down lol it's my opinion, if u like it, u do :)
I do get your point, but it all comes back down to how it has been translated from a language that has completely different syntax and grammar rules and so on, so it'd take a whole team of translators who are versed both in the korean language AND the dialect of the area that you are from to be completely 'accurate' for you and maintain the nuance that the author wanted to convey... which is a tall order from an industry that is known to have cutthroat deadlines and poor pay lol. plus, the translators may not even be from the UK at all, so they probably just translated to the best of their ability.
from the characters' affluence and their general environment, I think it's safe to say that they are far removed from regular society, so for your mind to rest easy you could just think of them as people you would never encounter irl unless you're close with people who give horses and mansions as casual gifts lol
on a final note, like you said, to the rest of the us who aren't from your area the lines just read as normal/neutral english, because it's smutty omegaverse literature with ultra rich characters and it really isn't that deep

This is just normal elongated speech that happens in stories all the time to pull in the reader and captivate them with words. Nothing that they’re saying would be attributed to British people specifically , stereotypically or otherwise. If they were saying things like “Well I do say, how ghastly” THEN I would agree but this? ..nah
