...I read the other comments, and yes, I understand it's been hard for him... He never received affection we all guess... But I still don't like him reasoning neglect with his heir being kind and timid? So to raise her strict? He distanced himself? I just don't like that part. He changes slowly but just to get praise from Abigail? And there's still too much pressure on the daughter, just living to make everyone happy or let them look good or trying to make them stay. Why still nobody assuring her she doesn't have to? She just doesn't get enough in my eyes.
